Eligibility

• Must be 21 years or older to win. Winner will be required to show proof of identity and age when prize is claimed.
• Employees of DirectBuy, its subsidiaries, their licensees or agents, and their families are not eligible to enter.
• Employees of News‐Talk 860, Pamplin Communications, its parent company and subsidiaries, their licensees or agents, and their families are not eligible to enter to win any contest aired on News‐Talk 860.
• You must own your home. No rentals, leases or apartments. Home must be in the Portland/Vancouver Metro area.
• Current DirectBuy members are not eligible

How to Enter

• Complete official entry form
• Contest entries may be printed and mailed or submitted in person to:

• All entries must be received by DirectBuy by close of business January 31st, 2009.
• All information obtained through contest entries will remain the sole property of DirectBuy Portland and will not be sold or released to any third party companies Prizes
• One Grand Prize will be given away consisting of a 3 year membership to DirectBuy of Portland.
• Prize and winner is final.
• Prize is transferrable.
• Winners must complete a Release form, which includes winner’s name, address, phone number, and social security number for tax purposes.
• Winner is responsible for claiming all taxes, including state and federal income taxes, on contest prize. A 1099‐MISC can be filed by DirectBuy of Portland
• Prizewinner will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries received by January 31st, 2009.

Winners’ Obligations

• Winners consent to use of their name, likeness, voice or any other representation by DirectBuy for editorial, advertising and publicity purposes (except where prohibited).
• Winners guarantee they are eligible to win and understand that DirectBuy may forfeit any prize for which they are ineligible.
• Winners must comply with all contest rules as published.

Winner Notification

• The winner will be notified by telephone on or before February 6th, 2009

DirectBuy Privileges

• All contests may be revised, withdrawn, concluded, extended or modified instantly without prior notification.
• DirectBuy is not responsible for delays or delivery of mail, telephone company malfunctions, e‐mail malfunctions, or failure of other equipment utilized as part of the contest.
• DirectBuy reserves the right to void contest winners’ prize claims in the event of fraud, collusion, tampering, deception or other similar malfeasance
