Shortly after my Fox Magazine began, they sent me a subscription acknowledgement offering me the opportunity to renew my subscription at a reduced introductory rate available with this notice only.
Okay, this would not have been sufficient cause to get added to the Businesses That Bug Us page.
The notice includes the following:

So guys, which is it? Does "1 more year" get me 13 additional issues or just 6 issues? I'd really like to know. I was pretty sure I had signed up for 13 issues (at this very same "with this notice only" rate), but now I had some reason to doubt. I had to waste my time reading and re-reading this notice, calling customer service to see if they had an explanation (they didn't), and then waste even more time posting this page.
There are plenty of other men's magazines to choose from. If they're going to send out notices that waste my time and then fail to make amends in any meaningful way, it's time to switch my subscription to one of those alternative publications.
