Dear Madame or Sir,
I see no imperative reason for your receipt of my cancelled check. The postcard that I received today is proof that you received my check because you said it was deposited. Therefore, it is a waste of my time and money to have to send you a copy of the cancelled check.
My time is worth approximately $20 per hour (with a two hour minimum) and it will cost me $20 to get a copy of my check. So, if you insist on this stupidity, you wiil be charged $60 for my time--in addition to my refund due.
I realize that you have my money and want to keep it. However, the ethics--since it is not your money ( you readily admit that I cancelled in time on your postcard)--of your tactics need to be questioned.
SEND BACK MY MONEY OR IF I HAVE TO CHARGE YOU FOR MY TIME I WILL--ON AN OFFICIAL COMPANY INVOICE--AND THEN I WILL NOT LET THE MIDLAND OR THE TEXAS BETTER BUREAUS REST UNTIL THEY HAVE BANNED YOUR ORGANIZATION FROM DOING BUSINESS IN OUR STATE.
Please understand, I have never been more serious in my life and you do not want to mess with me.
