I am no longer a Mary Kay rep. I still have a lot of products left. I planned to sell them on e-bay, not using the MK pics I took my own, and this lady e-mailed me saying I couldn't do that. If I am no longer a rep, what can I do. Should I just open every product and send them in under warranty? A quick response would be appreciated. I need to make up my mind tonight.

Thanks

This is Wendy: I am confused...can you send them back to the company still? Are you within your first year? If you open them up then you cannot send them back to the company and get your refund if you are within your year. The products have to be unused. How long ago did you sign up and when did you place your last order? If you have customers, are you willing to have a sale? I want to help but need more info. to help you. Take Care!

Try to sell them, (DO NOT TAKE anything out of the packages!!), at discount to anyone you know or have women try to sell them at their work for you. YOU CAN send inventory back after one year, but if it is your INITIAL inventory you ordered upon recruitment and haven't ordered anything since, you MUST get that back within a year after you ordered it, otherwise you will not get credit for product ordered initially. If you do not want to try to sell, LEAVE ALL PRODUCT IN TACT and call the Repurchase Department immediately.

When you call MK Product Repurchase # at 972-687-4700, you leave your consultant ID on their 'warm' answering machine and a form is automatically sent to you which you will receive in a few days. It indicates a 'retail' amount you are allowed to return based on your orders for the past year prior to that phone call (send back 1/2 that amount...wholesale) and a DATE that they have to RECEIVE it by (make sure you allow shipping time of at least 5 days to be safe). The longer you wait, the less you will get back as months of ordering will fall off. For instance, if you only ordered an inventory in June last year, you MUST have it back to them before the end of June this year....if you wait til JULY to call them and get the form, June of last year will not be counted. It's a year of ordering at the time of the call, if that makes sense.

If you got bonus product, include it in your return, you get reimbursed for it also, I did. You also get the tax back on the RETAIL VALUE, just like what you paid when you ordered, so that's a plus. Follow packing instructions by placing a copy of the return form in each of the boxes and number the boxes in case they get separated. Form will give you complete instructions. Discontinued, limited edition items CAN be returned also, but no USED product can be.

You will get a refund check in 4-6 weeks.......good luck.....mail me at user marclauraryan7 at domain yahoo.com if you need any further assistance.........

If you are no longer a rep, you can sell your products wherever you please. MK can only enforce action against active consultants who sell products on eBay ... if you were active your ID would be terminated. Since you're no longer a consultant ... they can't terminate you. Also, have you looked on eBay lately? There are literally THOUSANDS of Mary Kay auctions on eBay. Many former consultants choose to get rid of old product using eBay. And I don't blame them.
