hey, i just became a mary kay consultant (too bad i found this site after i already signed the contract). i love the work so far. i have too problems though... i cant get parties, people keep backing out but im sure i can learn to fix that. and my director is a vindictive brat. she made all these promises about how she was going to help me, and she never did... and she never told us that you needed to buy 400 dollers worth or product to get 50% off..so i haven't gotten that yet.. anyways, the question i was going to ask was, does anyone know how i can change directors? thanks for the help

You can look at your InTouch web search for InTouch site on the Consultant Locator and find a director in your area. Regarding the discount...you have to order $200 wholesale EACH Quarter to get the 50%. People back out of parties all the time, good luck in trying to 'fix' that. Did you order a huge initial inventory? Sometimes, directors will tell you that unless you order $1800 or more, they will NOT help you as you are not serious about your business if you don't order a big initial inventory. Sad, but true. I think there are plenty of women totally serious who order less in the beginning. It's called cautious, however, as I said, some directors are not willing to 'spend their time' with smaller initial orderers.
