oh maybe you THOUGHT you worked - but did you hold classes - weekly? Did you sell $300 a week - interview hostesses to build a team - you say you "bought" into the whole Mary Kay hype - but you didn't - had you - we would be reading about you in the applause magazine....
as for getting you to "buy so much inventory" it is for YOUR benefit- when you work and sell the products
YOU are the kind of consultant that drive us Directors NUTS....you want it so bad - but really don't want to work - that is part of America's problem....so I would guess with your attitude -and I'm sure you have vented to all your family and friends - you really aren't growing any fans around you - or interesting anyone into selling on your team - which is why you will never rise to leadership position
if you ever knew Mary Kay personally - you could never write what you did - why don't you just get out - go sell Avon - or something - and leave those of us willing to work alone
you ruin our good reputation by your lack of intergrity - and If I could even figure out who you really are - as you hide behind a screen - I would surely expose YOU to the company for the fraud YOU are - and the detriment you are to all who want to succeed - work - and enjoy this wonderful company - I'm glad I accidentally "stumbled" into this page - by typing a wrong letter - otherwise we couldn't find people like you who need to be wiped off a computer. Grow up - go to work and see if just maybe - you can't succeed -
Same old stuff. It's your own fault...you didn't work hard enough...you didn't try...fabulous company...yada yada...
MK is a flawed system. It is MLM, which means that only a very, very small few are allowed to succeed. The mathematics of it dictate that, since for everyone to succeed, there are not enough people in the world to be recruited.
Thank you for showing your true colors, MK lady. You are a poor representative of your supposedly fabulous company!

Go sell Avon? Is this supposed to be an insult? However, I actually agree with this statement. Yes, go sell Avon. Since becoming an independent sales rep. with Avon 4 years ago, I haven't found one reason to gripe about the business. And really, at just $10.00 to start, you're not really risking much. Also, what you wear to meetings is not dictated to you by anyone other then yourself. Want to come in sweats and flip flops? By all means, it's just a meeting after all. And actually PAYING for meetings? Are you kidding me? At Avon meetings, we learn for free how to better conduct out businesses as well as hold drawings to win full sized products that you can in turn re-sell to your customers and network with other ladies who are more then happy to share their personal tips and tricks for advertising your business. No one, not even your upline (or... I'm guessing MK calls them directors?) push you to buy a certain amount of inventory or tell you in any form how to run your own business. I am a leadership representative with Avon (I recruit, train, and mentor those women and men I sign up) and what our upline is trained to do is offer extensive training to new representatives (obviously FREE of charge, as it really should be.) help them with any problems they have within their business and of course motivate and encourage any ideas they may have to furthering their business.
So yes, I agree wholeheartedly with the MK director... go sell Avon, you just may find the experience a lot more rewarding and a lot less stressful.
Also... to the MK director, personally. What I found absolutely hilarious about your e-mail was that you fumed about this person whom you are responding to "ruining your reputations" however I think you did that yourself don't you? What kind of image do you think you are pressing upon yourself as not only a MK representative but also a woman in a leadership position within the company when you are not only calling people names ("stupid", I think it was) but lashing out at them telling them to "grow up" (which by the way is a tad hypocritical, judging by the way you presented yourself in your e-mail. Don't you think?)
So yes everyone. Go sell Avon... Or you could always stay with Mary Kay and it's wonderfully pleasant directors. :)
