When the customers need the product we as consultants have the product. I am in my third year as a consultant debuting as a Director-In-Qualification by Career Conference and Director by Seminar '08.
No one makes a person purchase inventory. I came in with a $1800 order and the only thing I regret is not getting more. The way this business is run "you try before you buy". Our customers can try the products in their homes and they choose to share their makeover session with friends. They love the products and we have what they want right then and we develop relationships that last a lifetime not just selling, but getting to know our customers on a personal and professional basis.
Please don't trash or put down what you don't know about. This is the best opportunity for women out there. I am proud to be representing once again the No. 1 Skin care Company in the Nation!!! ITS ALL BECAUSE OF OUR LOYAL CUSTOMERS THEY BUY, WE ORDER WHAT THEY NEED, AND OFFER GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
Future Independent Sales Director!!!
I'll look forward to your entries on this site in June of 2008, but will really be interested in where you are in October 2008. You'll know what I mean then.
If I may offer some advice without sounding condescending, build your unit slowly and with SELLERS. Do not fall into the trap of "selling them inventory" to make your quotas. It's going to take a lot of time to train each of your recruits to sell the product and enough women say that being a director and consultant are two full time jobs. Be prepared for the extra time involved.
Also, ask your director (before you hit DIQ) what happens to directors when they miss production a couple of months in a row (hint: you lose it). So, all the more reason to make sure you are building a unit of sellers making production BEFORE you become a director. Also, be prepared to recruit all the time. That's what it takes to maintain a unit.
Rather than read here and dismiss everything, truly consider what women who have "been there, done that" have said. This is not to tell you to get out before you give it a chance; just not to be foolish like so many of us were. You CAN learn from other's mistakes but if you simply dismiss them, woe to you.
