Here's the complaint someone sent to Sprint Customer Service:

Last November I verbally agreed to add free nights and weekends from 7 pm instead of 9 pm and agreed to a 2 year additional contract. There was no charge. Now on my bill in March there is a charge for $5.00.

Hmmmm... When they call the program "free nights and weekends", is it any surprise when consumers expect that they don't have to pay for it? But look at the apparently clueless response:

Dear xxx:

This is in response to your concern regarding PCS Advantage Agreement.

To read the entire PCS Advantage Agreement please visit:

Upon review of your account, I noticed that 7:00 p.m. Night and Weekend option has been included in your plan as of November 16, 2003. Be assured the Night & Weekend minutes associated with your plan are:

The time you start your call determines if the call is during off peak or peak times. If you start a call at 6:45 p.m. and talk for 30 minutes, this call will be considered 30 Anytime Minutes or peak time. If you place a call at 6:45 a.m. and it lasts for an hour, this will be considered one hour of Night & Weekend Minutes, as long as these minutes are available.

Thank you for contacting us, and please let us know if you have any further questions.
