Those folks are mighty reluctant to tell you it's First Data Merchant Services.

Why is it so difficult to get this info out of them? This is a problem that comes up repeatedly for companies doing outsourcing. They're hired to act like they are the company they're providing services for. But their concern for the customer and their knowledge of the client company is severely limited.

It may be that their contract requires that they do not represent themselves as anybody other than the client company, which of course is a problem.

Anyay, you might want to take any complaints about how your inquiries are handled direct to the appropriate merchant associate by calling 800-762-6663.
